Particulars Originally the HOLLAND set out on 11-09-1781; five days later, however, it returned to Texel. The ship sailed via Mauritius. After having arrived at Ceylon the HOLLAND continued its voyage to Batavia; arrival: 16-11-1783. The high death-rate among the crew was due to scurvy. See also the BOT (4392).
